Yelp (yelp.com) is a website that connects people with great local businesses. Yelp was founded in San Francisco in July 2004. Since then, Yelp communities have taken root in major metros across the US, Canada, UK and Ireland; Yelp drew an audience of more than 22 million unique visitors in June 2009. Yelpers have written more than 6 million local reviews, making Yelp the leading US local guide for real word of mouth on everything from boutiques and mechanics to restaurants and dentists.

Yelp.com sought out Visual Media Solutions when it was a small start up 5 years ago and needed an array of printed material. In the beginning their orders of post cards, stickers and business cards were being printed on a somewhat small scale but over the next few years the company grew 20 times the original size. Visual Media Solutions continued to meet this clients needs even with the hefty volume increase of projects. These days when producing Yelp decals, pens, drink coasters, subway maps for London and New York and printing direct mail campaigns the orders range from 20,000 to 100,000 individual pieces.
